| I have report which was deigned to generate letters in Word format, ,the letters have text in Cantonese I am having trouble with 2008R2 version , there is no Autofit Word option in 2008R2 unlike 2008. When I export to word using 2008R2 some of the text goes out of the margin. I tried to do all kinds of format changes in BIDS but it still wont work, need a solution please... |

| I found the solution:modify rsreportserver.config in Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSRS10_50.MSSQLSERVER\Reporting Services\ReportServer buy adding in the render section<Extension Name="AutoFitWORD" Type="Microsoft.ReportingServices.Rendering.WordRenderer.WordDocumentRenderer,Microsoft.ReportingServices.WordRendering"> <OverrideNames> <Name Language="en-US">AutoFit WORD</Name> </OverrideNames> <Configuration> <DeviceInfo> <AutoFit>Never</AutoFit> </DeviceInfo> </Configuration> </Extension> |
