| I wanted to share this freakish anomaly we ran into. We had an SSIS package that was failing for a while in production that generated sitemaps. started a project to revive it and suddenly we were getting error saying [sql service agent domain user] not able to login to [database name]. [sql service agent domain user] is sysadmin. wa wa??!?!? tried all kind of junk. Finally opened it in new version of visual studio, deleted a connection and recreated that same connection, changed absolutely no code. deploy to production and voila it works! but I cannot explain in technical terms what really happened. thought I would share this with everyone since it almost drove me off the wall.
