| Hi, I am trying to do bunch of alters (ex: trying to drop one col from a table), I get this error on one of the tables.Msg 5074, Level 16Stats 'ORG' is dependent on col 'ORG'.What does stats have to do with alter? Where can I find explanation to error messages?thanks,Sarat |

| You probably have a set of statistics for that column. Try DROP STATISTICS ORG and see if it drops them. Once that's done you should be able to drop the column. |
