Hi,

I will clarify my last question.

I have installed ne SQL 2012 server, and recovered old SQL 2005 database to him.

Untill i will drop the old SQL server 2005 server, i want to create link between the SQL server 2005 and the SQL server 2012.

When i am established the link, i have noticed that i cannot see theim, recoverd database i have deploy to the new SQL 2012.

I have tryed numerous of solutions, but still all the tables from the recoverd database on the new 2012 cannot be seen.

I created new database on the SQL 2012, and i can see the tables on him, but still the old recovered database is not returning me the tables.

Please advise

Are you able to run queries on those tables? I suspect that your issue is just with browsing those tables but that they are still accessible if you run a SELECT against them. This is likely a database driver issue.

Hi,

Just for the knowledge:

The answer is to install the Native Client of the SQL server 2005, on the SQL 2012 server.

Then there will be no problem to established the link between the SQL server 2005 and the SQL server 2012 - (referring to restore database with compatibility mode of SQL 2005 on SQL server 2012)
