Is there a Permission to check Permissions?I have read access to a Database. i.e. I can view stored procs and table structures but I can not modify, add or delete. But, I can not view the permissions on objects. I should be able to view Object permissions but I should not be able to set them. Is there a permission for this? |

I am not aware of a role/permission that would allow you to view permissions but not change them. You could try querying the system tables though.Tara KizerSQL Server MVP since 2007http://weblogs.sqlteam.com/tarad/ |
