I'm not being able to work with thwe (LocalDB)\v11.0 instance server. I'm using SSMS 2012 x64 on Win7 SP1, I installed other instance server (.\sqlexpress) and it works fine, but (localdb)\v11.0 doesn´t allow me to do anything, even if I log in my computer with the Administrator account, I get this error if I try to do something as restoring a database: "Property MasterDBPath is not available for Information 'Microsoft.SqlServer.Management.Smo.Information'. This property may not exist for this object, or may not be retrievable due to insufficient access rights". I even removed the localdb and reinstalled it using SqlLocalDB.msi.The SSMS allows me to connect to it but the database icon is shown as if it wasn´t started (the little green triangle doesn't appear), but the other instance (.\sqlexpress) appears with this little "green" triangle:What can I do? |

I suspect the issue is with the name that was chosen: v11.0. I am shocked that the installation even allowed that.Tara KizerSQL Server MVP since 2007http://weblogs.sqlteam.com/tarad/ |
