                                            | We have a custom Data Engine that feeds our 2008 Reports, we would like to upgrade to 2012 but we are afraid that this will break our existing reports ( which there are a great many of ). My question is what has changed from 2008 to 2012 and is there an easy upgrade path? Thanks,Sam | |

                                          | Microsoft provides a rich set of tools for you to do a safe and (somewhat) painless upgrade. There is an upgrade advisor which you can download and run - see here http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms144256.aspxLook on MSDN for other helpful documentation and suggestions. This is one of the topics in which Microsoft documentation is excellent, in my opinion. |
