Hi,I am running out of time to figure this one out myself, but I am sure to some of you, this is a no brainer. We plan to update a production sql2008R2 RTM (10.50.1600) to SP2.Do I need to update it to SP1 first? Also, I found the latest CU on it is 11, but the doc said if you don't have the issue in the list, don't apply them. What is your practice on dealing with CUs?Thanks! |

You can skip to SP2. I am Pro CUs as long as they aren't brand spanking new. Test first. MS is moving away from service packs.Tara KizerSQL Server MVP since 2007http://weblogs.sqlteam.com/tarad/ |
