Yesterday it was and Storm in my town. It can be problem with model database or it can be bug. Read this article http://support.microsoft.com/kb/940126/en-gb. I dont think your SQL Server is patched to SP4 is it ?. This is the first thing you should do.If you have backup of model database restore it refer to this link http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-gb/library/ms190190.aspx otherwise you would have to rebuild model database.Hope this helpsRegardsShankyhttp://social.technet.microsoft.com/wiki/contents/articles/24253.list-of-articles-by-shanky.aspx |

Effectively its only SP1. At the end i waste 3 hours to re-install sql instance and restore backups.Anyway thanks for the info. will be usefull if someday deals same error. |

HiOne simple way to recover master DB is back up it from any other server and restores it. |
