With SSIS, you may be able to bypass the temp table which may decrease runtime. Its easy to set up a test case to confirm or refute that theory. I'd say give it a try. |

You'll need to use BIDS (SQL SERVER 2008 and below) or SSDT (2012 and up) to use the full power of SSIS, including data mapping. |
