Shankar Ganesh writes "Hi We r having SQL Server 2000 Analysis services (standard edition) installed in windows 2000 server. I have created cubes and I have used Frontpage and Pivottable services. I can do the analysis very well in that server. But when I try to access the Pivottable page from another machine (which is also under the same domain), I could not do so. I am getting error message :"The query could not be processed. The operation requested failed due to security problems - the user could not be authenticated". It is happening from all other client machines. The SQL Server and Analyses services both are running under a domain account. Please respond to this ASAP.Advance ThanksShankarEmailid : r_shankar_ganesh@yahoo.com" |

In Analysis Services you need to create roles for your cube databases. These roles should contain the logins used on your client machines. The client machines will then have no trouble connecting to the cubes. |
