| Our DB has been updated on a new server. I know how to transfer the actual reports and the RDL files.How do I transfer the formats and structure of the Report Manager web page?I have 6 folders all with different users and each folder has at least a dozen reports. Not all the reports carry the parent authorizations.I don't want to redo all the authorizations and the upload the files and creating the folders. Is there a way to copy this page from http://old_server/Reports/Pages/Folder.aspx?ViewMode=Listand recreate it inhttp://new_server/Reports/Pages/Folder.aspx?ViewMode=ListCardGunner |

| I used the instructions located here at this link.http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms156421(v=sql.110).aspxIt almost worked perfectly. When I went to run from the web it errored saying could not recognize the temp DB. I renamed the temp db per the error. I was able to then open the website but each report errored in a similar fashion. I renamed the report db (not temp) and re attached that db. WorksCardGunner |
