I am Trying to export a 2005 SSIS package...I've been looking at advice from this site:http://www.sql-server-performance.com/2008/exporting-ssis-package-using-ssms/Apparently, I need to "Export Package from File System using SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)....AND >> export an SSIS Package from File System, you need to expand the File System node and then right click the SSIS package which needs to be exported ...."However, in my SSMS - there is no node in the list called 'Stored Packages' and no 'File System'.So I don't know how I am going to export via SQL Server Management Studio?(I am using SQL 2005)Thanks.mark. |

I am actually trying to put a SSIS package on SQL 2008 from SQL2005.I believe you can't export from SQL2005 to SQL 2008?however, when I browse our SQL2005 server from SQL2008 - it is not there!?So I wondered if I had to export from SQL2005 and place it somewhere / wrap it up / like some kind of zip file ready for SQL2008 to find and import it?mark. |
