| I am new to sql but i tried to add one data base , i am getting error message When i try to attach the database Not primary database file Please any body can help O buzaid |

| Is the file a primary database file? By default the primary file has the extension .MDF. If it is a backup file, you will need to RESTORE rather than ATTACH. Usually people give .BAK extension to backup files. |
