| Hello experts,Is it possible to try repair a database without being attached, giving the path to the files?I'm trying to attach a database that i recover from a disk, and i'm not able to attach, gives me an error, saying i should do a db check.Thx in advanced |

Can't think of a way you can do that.Instead of attaching it can you take a full backup and restore that? The Restore will hap[illy  restore a corrupted database - i.e. you will get an exact copy of the original. You can then use the Consistency Checking tools to see if it is bust, repair it, etc. (and then backup/restore it over the original, or perform the same steps on the original) |
