| Neil writes "Hi , Ive just reinstalled win200 machine and out sql2000 on. I have then gone to bring it up to the latest service pack. I have tried SP1 & SP2 and keep getting to the screen where it says"Setup is installing Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC).."but then it will come back with error after a couple of mins saying"Installation of the Microsoft Data Access Components Package Failed. | Try to download MDAC 2.6 and install that seperately. Then if that succeeds, rety the SP.-Chad |
