Author  Topic  Jen6011 Starting Member 1 Post Posted - 2002-10-17 : 11:10:50 When trying to run MSDE installation on the Office 2000 Pro CD at \SQL\X86\SETUP\Setupsql.exe, a friend of mine receives the following error message Setup cannot find the MSDE installation at the location specified by HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\MSSQLServer\Setup\SQLPath. Correct the problem and restart setup. Any ideas on how to correct this? Thanks
