| Adam writes "I am running Microsoft SMS 1.2 and store the database on an MS SQL 6.5 server. It is about 100MB in size.I also have a new MS SQL 2000 server which I wish to use to house the SMS database. I have tried running the wizard on the 2000 server but it only allows you to import data from SQL v7 or above. There must be an easier way than upgrading to v7 and then importing. Also, are you aware of any potential SMS related issues with upgrading to SQL 2000 - can't find anything about it on the net. Thanks in advance.Adam HackwellMCSE, CCNA" |

| Which wizard are you using? You can upgrade from 6.5 directly to 2000. You have to use the Upgrade Wizard and not the import/export wizard or any other wizard. |
