Peter Reiter writes "Hi!

I installed MSDE2000 on WIN NT 4 Server SP6a
Afterwards I installed SP2 (GER_SQL2KDeskSP2.exe - GER means German, but I read in US-Magazine, some have the same trouble with the english version).

The installation of the ServicePack seems to run fine.
But when I ask in 'osql' for the version-number. It still tells
me I use the RTM-Version without a ServicePack

Any help?
I tried the following things:

#1
cd\msde2000\setup
msiexec.exe /p "sqlrun01.msp"

#2
cd\msde2000
setup /p sqlrun INSTANCENAME=WI5

WI5 is the MSDE-Servername
but then he asks for the sqlrun01.msi which
is not included into the SP2, just the .msp

#3
cd\msde2000
msiexec.exe /p "sqlrun01.msp" INSTANCENAME=WI5

But nothing helped

Thanks for your help, if you are able to
With friendly greetings
Peter Reiter"
