Siva writes "How to backup the databsaes symultaneously using the backup options 1.database - complete 2. database - differential. So that the complete database backup can be stored in one area and the differential database backup can be stored in another area. The idea behind this is to backup the databases on day to day basis along with complete one untouched. This has to be done on a remote server. My version is sqlserver2000 with server pack 4.Please help me out.Thank"

If your databases are small enough to do a complete backup each day why do you need to do a differential one as well ? Why not just back it up to 2 different places.===========Paul

Maybe I'm missing something here, but just have your backup commands point to two different locations.
