| It sounds like you're backing up directly to tape and it might be causing some performance problems. If so, I would advise that you backup to disk and then copy that backup to tape. Of course all of the things that you listed affect backup and overall sql performance as hardware always does. If you're having a particular problem just ask the question and someone can help you.Thanks,JamesH. |
