| Tom writes "Hey guys,We've been having issues with our server where we're hitting the maximum allowed connections which means no one can connect from that point forward until someone stops and restarts the service. Our server is currently configured for a maximum of 100 connections. Is this typical? We have 30 to 50 databases hosted on this server so that seems a little small to me. I know that SQL Server can handle upwards of 32,000 connections. What would you recommend for our configuration?Tom Jaspering" |

| There is no way to recommend a configuration (only your company would know how many they need), but 100 is definitely too small.Tara |
