| Well, in my opinion, the best way is to use bcp, but some people prefer bulk insert. Still other people prefer DTS. But I would suggest bcp.Tara |

Tara,Is there any Specific advantages of BCP rather using BULK INSERT or DTS Sekar~~~~Success is not a destination that you ever reach. Success is the quality of your journey. |

| bcp is available for pretty much every version of SQL Server; DTS and BULK INSERT were introduced with 7.0. However, you can use DTS to access a SQL 6.5 server.bcp and BULK INSERT also have less overhead than DTS, and if you have very simple import and export operations they are usually faster than DTS. But if it's a one time import and you need something easy, use the Import/Export wizard in DTS. |
