| Hello..I have recently installed Microsoft SQL server on my Windows 2000 Advanced Server. I want to change the security of the SQL server from Windows security to SQL and Windows Security. I do this by selecting the SQL and Windows Security mode under the Security tab in the Server Properties..So far so good. The server asks me to restart the service in order for the changes to take effect but when the service restarts the Security mode remains unchanged....Anyone can please help on this....???Thank you. |

| I have done this before many times and it has always worked for me. Trying logging in as sa to see if you can use a SQL account to get in. The password is most likely blank, so after you get this working, change the password to something else.Tara |
