| (fairly) recently Microsoft released their guidelines for product support timelines:http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=fh;EN-US;lifecycleYou might have to hunt a little to find anything specific on SQL Server 7.0, but I'd say you've got at least 2 more years before you need to start worrying about their support. The one place where they bite you is upgrading, you can't upgrade more than 2 versions ahead (SQL 6.5 can upgrade to SQL 7.0 or SQL 2000, but 6.0 cannot go to 2000 directly) |

| I can't provide a specific answer, but our support cycle is typically The current relaese, and the previous release. When SQL 2000 came out (Sept. 2000) We stopped the majority of code support for 6.5 at the end of 2000. So When Yukon is released, you will probably see something similar. -Chadhttp://www.clrsoft.comSoftware built for the Common Language Runtime. |
