| Hi people,we've just set up a new server that is hyperthreaded and then installed sqlserver on it. The hyperthreading makes sqlserver think that the box is a 4 processor box when it is only a 2 processor box. Will the cause us a problem with the licencing, is there anyway of tell sqlserver that the box is actually a 2 processor box?ThanksRob |

| According to the EULA (as I understand it), the license is based on the actual number of processors on the machine. However, I guess you will have problems convincing the SQL Server that it has only 2 procs... Maybe you should write to MS or your local sales rep and ask them? |
