David writes "I would like to know the steps to go through to setup SQL 2000 to use ssl encryption. I have found some information on setting it up in the SQL server books online. We get a series of errors in the event log saying that encryption selected but no certificate is installed. I installed a verisign test certificate in the IIS key manager. We are running NT 4 with service pack 6a, IIS 4 and SQL server 2000. If you could help me I would really appreciate it. I would like to make sure that I have installed the certificate in the correct place.
