| Dennnis writes "Our company is working with local Police Dept to replace their NT4 Workstations with Workstations running Windows XP Pro.They are running NT 4 Server, and SQL Server7.Software is for Police Dept, VisionAir911 custom program for Law inforcement. After installing the VisionAir software on XP Workstation and setting up the ODBC to server, I get the following errors when starting program.General SQL error[Microsoft] ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Incorrect password supplied for application role 'VSISSYSTEM'.then next error[Microsoft] ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Incorrect password supplied for application role 'VSIDATA'.then it starts program. On one XP Workstation the administrator logs in to Server and there are no errors starting program.I have checked local machine account to setup as administrator and join the domain to login to server.Setting up on Windows 98 had no errors running program. Will contact Software company next wek though they said they do not support XP. Why can a few users run fine on XP, same permissions on NT and local machine.Any help would be much appreciated!Dennis" |
