| there are lot of factors which has to be taken into account .1)like the volume of transaction that will take place on the servers. 2)will both the databases will be accessed simultaneously. 3)the power of ur servers4)the design of ur databses(a bad desgin will always tell on the performance)the best way to find out, is to add the database and test your server again.HTH-------------------------What lies behind you and what lies ahead of you are small matters compared to what lies within you.-Ralph Waldo Emerson |

| Why would adding a database give you performance? If you are experiencing problems, then you need to take away things not add them. How about adding another database server to your environment to offload some of the work from the other two?Tara |
