| If you look at your SQL Server error log, you will see the exact reason why the database was marked suspect. Typical reasons include, not enough space on the disk, or the database file got deleted etc.Look up the page titled "Resetting the Suspect Status" in SQL Server Books Online.--HTH,Vyashttp://vyaskn.tripod.com |

| Take a look at sp_resetstatus in SQL Server Books Online. If you can get your database out of suspect mode using this system stored procedure, then immediately back up your database. You should also test this backup as well.Tara |
