| zak writes "My database does not autogrow the log file as it is supposed to all the time (does sometimes, but reliably). I would like to find a command to grow the log file by say 50megs when the "log full" error occurs...I have not been able to find the command anywhere.I am using MS SQL 2000 enterprise with sp3!" |

| Check out the ALTER DATABASE command in SQL Server Books Online.BTW, the log file will autogrow reliably. As soon as it runs out of disk space, it autogrows according to what you have specified. Perhaps, your autogrow percentage or size is too small and it can't keep up with it.Tara |
