| Hi,1. What are the disadvatages of differential backup?2. Can we restore a db from EM which has differntial backups? | 1. ???? They are only used as an aid to faster recovery or redundancy for tr logs. They can get large if a lot of data is updated.2. Yes. You restore the last backup then the differentioal. I don't adivise to use the maint exe.==========================================Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.DTS can be used in a similar way.Beer is not cold and it isn't fizzy. |
