I'm sure this has been asked a ton but it is a tough topic to search for. I'm going to look at the articles in a minute too.

I get good arguements on both sholders (angel/devil)
I've been hammering away on both styles. Each has it's
advantages. How to decide.

I'm really scared about not being able to restore for example just
the Engineering apps alone. But all aspects of the company are so interrelated. Engineering targets and schedules are set by labor entries etc. labor goes hand in hand with personnel
personnel works with the vacation schedule, back to enginneering,
that person being away does that get elevated to an open issue. Back to costing with respect to outsourcing. Three divisions(plants) behaving as one financially. But distinct operationally.

Tough choices, both are workable.
