When I script more than one object to multiple files, enterprise manager prefixes them with dbo. and also suffixes them with things like .TAB, or, .TRG, or .VIW. Can I turn this off? I want them to come out the same way they do when you choose to send your output to just one file. No owner and suffix = .sql.

Thanks for your help.

No you can not turn it off. Just write some VBScript to rename them. Script would be pretty simple, remove first 4 characters, change last 3 to sql.

I actually like the extensions that EM uses when scripting them out to multiple files. It allows for easy grouping.

Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.
DTS can be used in a similar way.
