I am having a problem upsizing an Access 2000 server on a Windows 2000 Profesional version using SQL Server MSDE engine. Here is the message:

I googled "Access upsizing wizard overflow" and found a bunch of information. This might be the one that you need:

I've never even used Access, let alone an Access upsizing wizard. I rarely even used the SQL Server wizards. When I do, it's cuz I'm being lazy.

Well I have been using Access since version 1.0 and made a pretty good living out of it.

Anyway. My situation is the following: one of my client needs to converta data in Access to SQL Server. He is using the MSDE engine not the SQL Server full version.
X002548 seems to say that relying on a Microsoft wizard is not good. What should be using then ? I guess I can't use DTS without SQL Enterprise Manager, which is not installed with MSDE ?

I wasn't suggesting anything by my comments. I was just stating the facts as the pertain to me.

Doesn't dtsrun.exe come with MSDE? I think it does. dtsrun.exe allows you to use DTS without the UI.
