I've read several articles about how to avoid having Stored Procs recompile.

How would I get statistics on SP's recompiling?

Enquiring minds want to know.

Performance monitor will give you a recompilations / second metric. You can also use Profiler to capture the event SP:Recompile. That will tell you specifically which procedures are recompiling. Randy Dyess has some great articles on recompiles. I've seen some great performance improvements by eliminating them. Especially on SQL7.
