My raid 5 HD just crashed last week Now I'm back on it and I have to restore all my database. All my databases are on another HD and backed up. What is the procedure with this? Do I need to restore Master, MSDB, Model. What really matter to me is the MSDB since it contains all my DTS.I tried to restore Master and it says that it must be in Single Use mode to be restored... something like that.Then I tried to restore my MSDB database and it said that my back up version is 134218262 and it is not the same as my New SQL server version. Where can I find what is the corespondance for this number. Is it SP1, SP2?? I did not install the SQL server the first time so I don't know what was the last update the guy did before me.Thanks for showing me some signs of light |
