| I've got a publisher on the internal network, and a distributor in a dmz, then a subscriber offsite that connects vpn to vpn, using a push publication. Now, to avoid any problems with communication between the two using RPC (which cisco specifically recommends to avoid at all costs, because of its insecure nature) I've heard there is a way to configure a static port for a/n RPC service(s).Anyone ever tried it before? Can anyone point me in the right direction? I don't know if this is more of a windows question, or if you specifically have to specify the RPC port for the services in question, so I hope I haven't posted this in the wrong place! |
