Hi,

Anyone has a script for converting:

"select @cpu_busy" to a percentage ???. I mean to make it match the current cpu usage.

Thanks and Regards

@@CPU_BUSY does not equal % CPU utilization.

@@CPU_BUSY is the amount of time in milliseconds that the CPU has been busy since SQL Server was started. % CPU utilization means how busy the processors are at that moment in time, not cumulatively.

You'll have to run the performance monitor and have it export the results to a file, which you can then import to SQL Server. SQL Server by itself will not know how busy the CPU's are.
