| Marylou writes "Is it possible to restore a database to a certain point in time and then restore all following transactions except one? A critical record was deleted and I know how to restore the database to that point in time, but there has been activity in other tables since then and I want to make sure none of that data is lost. Thank you!" |

| No you can't skip over one transaction. Point in time recovery means you can go right up to a certain point in time for logged activity but when you stop it there you cannot skip a transaction and then resume the recovery.Raymond |
