| Hi,I can't access my sqlserver because the service isn't starting. I didn't touch the server so I guess its been hacked? What are my options? Can I just grab the database files and then remove and re-install sqlserver? Any help would be appreciated! |

| Have you looked at Control Panel/Services to see if you can start it from there? You should be able to setup the account it's running on and start the service. If that doesn't work, it should produce an error in the application log. Have you checked there? If you did, what is the error?MeanOldDBAderrickleggett@hotmail.comWhen life gives you a lemon, fire the DBA. |
