Robert writes "I am looking for scheme that uses SQL Server authentication that operates like NT authentication. It appears NT authenticating does not work across domains. We have users on multiple domains, but want the NT like security. By that I mean disallowing password reuse, requiring passwords have upper, lower, numeric and special characters, locking out users after a number of attempts. Has a scheme like this been developed, or do you have a suggestion?
We are using SQL Server 7.00.961 with SP2, and are moving to 2000 shorty the OS is NT Server 4.00.1381 with SP6a." |
