Hello everybody,

end of march "nishithrn" asked about the Codd's rules and SQL Server.
Now I would like to know which are the Codd's Rules that MS Access meet and in which way?

Anybody knows where I can find information about this issue?

Thank you,
Lorena

Hi,

This is the SQL Administration forum....might you place your post in an Access forum?

Do a search. Google with Codd Rules as the first link gives

http://www.databaseanswers.com/codds_rules.htm

As to how much access implements it's probably a matter of debate.
Also how many do you think are important?

Don't think any database implements them fully.
Usually five or six are reasonably well implemented and the rest debateable.

Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.
DTS can be used in a similar way.
