When I was trying to install SQL Server 2000 Ent Ed on Win 2000 Prof, I get an Error "Overlapped I/O operation in progress" after entering the Client Access License and "Next". I've seached several books and websites including Microsoft, No luck sofar. Did anyone had similar experience and resolved it? Thanks

Yes I rebooted it. I got the same message. I've shutdown the system for a while and tried to reinstall. No change.

Just noticed you are using Win2k Professional. You can't install Ent. Edition on Professional. Only SQL Server 2000 Evaluation Edition, Developer Edition, or Personal Edition can be installed on Win2k Professional.Tara

Are you installing this to a virtual server in the cluster?Have you checked the installation logs / Event viewer?I think the answer lies in the installation logs. I can't remember where they are, but I think they are in the target installation directory.Michael<Yoda>Use the Search page you must. Find the answer you will.</Yoda>
