| Hello, I need to move a SQL server ( in a Windows NT 4.0, SQL6.5 environment) from a stand-alone server to a cluster.I'm not at all familiar with SQL server, I have an idea but I'm not sure it is a good idea..Can I create a virtual server with the same name of the old sql server? After then how can I transfer the whole databases? Backup and restore, BCP or transfer manager? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.Thanks. Sally |
