| Hi all,I changed my window logon password and therefore my SQL doesn't start because i used window login instead of the SQL login. Please advise me how to change setting in the SQL server so it recognize my new password. Thanks |

| If you are just talking about a logon password then changing your NT password should not break SQL server. If you're talking about the service logon password, then go to tools -- admin -- services, find the SQL SERVER service and change the password in there.-------Moo. :) |

| Somehow i changed the window logon password and it broke the sql connection. Anyway, i found answer on microsoft website. All i have to do after changing the password is go to Control pannel - services- MSSQLServer - change the password in there also.Thanks for the response. |
