Hi all,
I changed my window logon password and therefore my SQL doesn't start because i used window login instead of the SQL login. Please advise me how to change setting in the SQL server so it recognize my new password.

Thanks

If you are just talking about a logon password then changing your NT password should not break SQL server.

If you're talking about the service logon password, then go to tools -- admin -- services, find the SQL SERVER service and change the password in there.

Somehow i changed the window logon password and it broke the sql connection.

Anyway, i found answer on microsoft website. All i have to do after changing the password is go to Control pannel - services- MSSQLServer - change the password in there also.

Thanks for the response.

Make sure you change it for any other service using that account also.
