| Hello all, i was wondering if it is better to have a table with 4 colums and many rows OR 28 columns and fewer rows. Which is handled better by SQL server and easier to maintain?Thank youAll help appreciated. |

| Skinny and tall is better. So fewer columns with lots of data.Tara |

well it depend on what kind of data you hold... follow the rules of normalization.what do you want to do?Go with the flow & have fun! Else fight the flow |
