Is it possible for a third party Backup server to pull a backup from SQL server without the proccess being logged by SQL?

As a vendor of a 3rd party backup tool, I am not aware of any method that can do what you described. Is there a possibility the record itself was deleted after it was logged?

Thanks Peter, That is what I thought. The problem is that the person that said that SQL was being backed-up by the 3rd party software was lying to me. because since asking him about it the backups have suddenly started appearing in the log files.
