| Sam writes "I have a database that has 1.6 Terabytes of SAN space attached to it and there's roughly 70 Gig of available space. I see the available space via Taskpad, SpaceAllocated - the free space is in blue. However, just above SpaceAllocated is database information and it shows space available being zero. Do you know why space available would show zero? The SQL Server engine is 2000 Enterprise Edt. with SP2.Thanks in advance for your insight." |

| Because there isn't any more room? Are you referring to the data file or the transaction log?Tara |
