Hi group.
This problem is faced by my friend and i was unable to solve that, so i m putting this in front of you.

DBA has taken fullbackup at monday 1300 hrs. at that time in one table called customer_visits, there was 200 entries. Database has crashed om Tuesday 1000 hrs. At that time, according to sales team, there should be 15000 entries in the customer_visits table.

So tell me how to recover the whole table with 15000 reocrds since all datta is critical for weeklky report and individual customer information.

Thanks in advance.

do you have routine full and log backups?

if yes, you can do a point in time restoration before the crash happened.

if no and if the log file is still intact, you can use a log reader to restore whatever you can restore. for one, try apexsqllog

goto www.apexsql.com and download their free version, you can even ask them if you encounter some problems and they'll surely help you out.
